ABOUT US
Terpenes Nation was born out of frustration with the overwhelming presence of single-use plastics and the lack of sustainable, eco-conscious practices—especially within the hemp industry. Despite hemp’s natural benefits, the sector remains saturated with environmentally harmful packaging and minimal focus on sustainability.
Our Mission
Founded in 2023, Terpenes Nation is a privately owned, not-for-profit educational facility dedicated to sharing comprehensive knowledge about the hemp plant. Our mission is to empower people through education—so they can become informed advocates for hemp and its many uses. As a licensed organic low-THC hemp farm, we legally provide hands-on learning experiences to our members.

At the heart of Terpenes Nation is a commitment to health and healing. We focus on educating members about the medicinal benefits of hemp and exploring the many ways it can support optimal body function and well-being.
Our Leadership
The founder of Terpenes Nation has devoted his life to breaking down the harmful stigma surrounding hemp. His vision is to help achieve widespread recognition and federal acceptance of the plant’s powerful healing potential.

We are on a mission to grow our membership to 100,000 strong. This number represents a critical tipping point—enough collective voice to create a mandate that compels policymakers to seriously consider our call for decriminalisation and legalisation.

At Terpenes Nation, sustainability is not an afterthought—it’s embedded in everything we do. The hemp industry remains one of the least regulated consumer sectors, allowing for the use of filler ingredients and even harmful additives in many products. Compounding this issue is the excessive reliance on plastic packaging, which contributes to thousands of tonnes of microplastics entering our environment each year. In fact, approximately 70% of the industry’s waste comes from packaging alone.
Terpenes Nation was founded to challenge this status quo—to inspire consumers to move away from single-use plastics and redefine their relationship with hemp products through conscious, sustainable choices.

Our Commitment
Our mission to reduce single-use plastics and minimise product waste led to the development of our Sustainability Goals Framework 2022–2024—a roadmap guiding our continuous efforts toward a cleaner, more ethical hemp industry.
Sustainability Goals
The United Nations has identified 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that address the most pressing economic, environmental, and social challenges facing the world today. At Terpenes Nation, we have reviewed these goals through the lens of our mission and operations, and identified 10 key areas where we believe we can make the most meaningful impact.
1. Reducing Our Carbon Footprint
We prioritise carbon-neutral shipping for our orders and help offset the emissions from supplier deliveries by contributing to the Eco-Packaging Alliance, which funds tree-planting initiatives in reforestation zones.
2. Sustainable Materials & Waste Reduction
By following a circular economy approach, we choose packaging that is compostable, recyclable, reusable, or biodegradable.
We produce in small batches to minimise waste and responsibly source botanical oils—prioritising organic and environmentally conscious suppliers wherever possible.
3. Community Engagement
Community is a foundational value at Terpenes Nation. A portion of our proceeds supports charities, NGOs, and local initiatives.
Our blog serves as a platform to educate, inspire, and raise awareness about social issues, sustainability in business, and conscious consumerism.
We’re committed to inclusivity and transparency across all levels of communication—with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders alike.
4. Health, Safety & Wellbeing
Our team is the heartbeat of Terpenes Nation. We are dedicated to creating a workplace that is safe, inclusive, supportive, and inspiring.
We also work exclusively with reputable suppliers who follow ethical codes of conduct—prioritising environmental responsibility, fair labour, and sustainable product development.
Carbon Footprint
Our goal as a business is to achieve full carbon neutrality. We are actively pursuing certification with recognized carbon reduction organisations and institutes to become a certified Carbon Neutral Business. We continuously explore ways to offset 100% of our emissions through carbon credit programs across a variety of projects.
Shipping
All orders are shipped via Australia Post, which offers carbon-neutral delivery. We use FSC-certified cardboard mailers, expandable kraft paper, and tissue paper, with compostable mailers ensuring eco-friendly packaging throughout the shipping process.
Looking Ahead
We are in the process of joining the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), a co-regulatory, not-for-profit body that collaborates with government and industry to reduce the environmental impact of packaging in Australia.
Cruelty-Free Commitment
None of Terpenes Nation’s products are tested on animals. We are also working towards making all our products vegan-friendly.
Transparency in Sourcing
We conduct regular audits of our suppliers and ingredients to ensure that no animal testing is involved at any stage.
